Hello, everyone. Thank you so much for joining IBM webinar. Before we get started, I'd like to go over some housekeeping items. At the bottom of your screen, you should see a Q&A box where you can start submitting your questions for our presenter today. Later today, you will receive a link to the on-demand recording and a link to the slide deck. So without further ado, I will pass it over to Christian. Hello, everyone. Thank you very much for joining us today. I wanted to go ahead and walk you all through what certification testing will look like at TechExchange 2026. As an introduction, my name is Kristen Wall Gibson, and I am the IBM Professional Certification Program Manager. And with that, I will go to the next slide. Okay. So at TechExchange this year, all attendees with a full conference badge are eligible to take two IBM or HashiCorp certification exams for free. So if you want to take one Hashi and one IBM or two IBM or two Hashi, you're welcome to. Just a total of two free certification exams. All IBM and HashiCorps certification exams will be available at TechExchange this year. So super excited to go ahead and make those available to everybody. One thing that I definitely want to point out is that HashiCorp has two different sort of types of exams. They have the associate level certification exams, which are multiple choice, and you'll be able to take those throughout the entire conference when the certification testing area is open. HashiCorps also has advanced level or previously known as professional-level lab-based certification exams. These exams are four-hour lab- based exams, and these exams will only be available on Monday, October 26, and they have a required pre-registration, and I will go ahead and show a QR code for that if you want to go ahead and register for one of those exams on a following slide. All other certification exams, IBM or the associate level HashiCorp certification exams are available first come, first serve. There's no pre-registration needed for those. So this slide here, it walks you through the hours when certification testing is available. I do want to draw a note or attention to the last seating. So for instance on Monday we're open from 8 30 to 5 30 which means so the last sitting will always be an hour and a half prior to close to make sure that everybody has enough time to finish their exam. So what that means is we will start exams between 8 30 in the morning and four o'clock in the afternoon. If you show up at 5 30 to go ahead and take a certification exam, you will not be able to test on that day. So please make sure that you pay very close attention to the last seating. I also want to go head and point out that while the certification area this year will be quite large, I believe we have 118 systems, whereas last year we had 75. So we will have a larger area for testing, but the certification testing does get busier throughout the week. So just expect that if you show up on Thursday, for instance, at 11 o'clock, it is quite possible that the area will be full. Now, if you showed up prior to last seating, we will still let you in to test, but just know that it could be after 11 o'clock. So just keep that in mind that as the week goes on, it will get busier because you're not the only one who wants to attend sessions, attend labs prior to taking your certification exam. So please just go ahead and keep that in mind. What do you need to test? So what's needed to test is all IBM and HashiCorp Associate-level exams will require you to have a Pearson VUE ID and password for testing. So individuals can go. I'll have another slide where I'll link you to the site. But make sure you have a Pierson VUE user ID and passport, and you know what they are. We're not able to look up your ID or your password because that is PII, and it's available only with Pearson Vue. The only thing I would be able to tell you is which email address you had used when you last tested with us. Also, make sure that you or your customer bring a government-issued ID. This could be a driver's license or some sort of ID or a passport, but it must be government- issued. And then the last thing here is only noise-canceling headphones that are provided by us are permitted during the testing. So if you show up with your AirPods, you will not be permitted to use those during testing. And before going into test, we will ask that your cell phone is turned completely off. If you have a smartwatch on, your smartwatch needs to be put away in your backpack, which you can take in the testing room. And obviously, no special Google Glasses are allowed either, and no AirPods. It looks like we have a question here. If I register the tech exchange event with my client email ID, would you be able to go ahead and test with your personal ID? What matters here is not the ID that you used when you registered for TechExchange. What matters is what email address do you have in your Pearson VUE ID. So when you log into Pearson Vue, is that your personal email address or is that your work email address? Whatever email address is in your Pierson VUE account is the email address that we will issue the badge to if you successfully complete the exam. So you may want to go ahead and look at your Pearson VUE account and make sure that it's the email address that you want everything to go to. All right. And then HashiCorp does use Certiverse platform and GitHub accounts. That is not changing. However, during tech exchange, we will not be using Certiverse. We wanted to have a single unified platform for all testing for individuals. And so for that reason, the associate level exams for HashiCorps will all still be available in Pearson VUE. The badges and the certifications will still be issued the way they have been in the past. And after tech exchange, the HASHI exams will only be available on Certiverse as is typical. When it comes to the advanced certifications, those will continue to be done through Certiverse and require the pre-registration. So I hope that helps there. All right. Any other questions before I move on to the next set of slides? Okay. So this slide here, for those of you who want to take a HashiCorp lab-based exam, we will have a seating in the morning, I believe it's at 8.30, and another seating after lunch. So you can use this QR code, or if you are wanting to do this from your mobile device, use the URL below. They were having an issue with the QR code working on a mobile device. So there's the URL that you can use to go ahead and register. All registrations for the lab-based exams must be done, I believe, by Saturday morning. And that's because the labs must be provisioned and set up for the testing on Monday. So if you want to take one of the HashiCorp lab- based exams, again, those will only be available on Monday, you can go ahead and use this URL or this QR code to go ahead and register for those. I'm going to go ahead and switch to the next slide, so if anyone needs this, go ahead and copy it now. All right. For those of you who have in the past taken HASHI exams, but you want to go ahead and take one of the HASHi associate level exams while at TechExchange, I should say associate level or intermediate, there is a new Terraform exam that is being launched Ortec Exchange. That will also be available through Pearson VUE. So this is the QR code and then the email address, the URL, if you want it to go ahead and create your Pearson VIEW IBM account. You will need to go head and have that in order to enter the testing room. So we will ask you when you register, when you're setting up, if have a Pearson Vue user ID and password, and also importantly, if you know what it is and what the password is. So make sure you have that information before you come. One of the other things, while I encourage you, even if you have a Pearson VUE user ID and password, ifyou haven't used it in a while, I would recommend going ahead and testing it before you come to Tech Exchange so that if there are any issues or if you need to create another account or whatever, that can all be taken care of prior to showing up at the event. Okay. So preparing to go ahead and take an exam at Tech Exchange. first and foremost you want to determine what exam are you going to take so you can go this qr code here we'll take you to the catalog for tech exchange and it will take you specifically to all of the certification exams that will be available while there there are a few certification exams that are at Pearson right now for publication and so you will not find them on the IBM certification website yet, but you will see them in the catalog. One of those exams is a new Bob, so Bob version two developer certification exam that will be available for TechExchange. And also there is an integration SAS for those of you who know web methods. That exam is in publication right now at Pearson VUE. So you won't find it on our website, but you will see some of the information about those exams in the catalog. Expect those to go online in the next week or so. And I would also say for those of you who might be interested in one of those two exams, the integration SAS exam, they did a prep session for yesterday. So you can go out and look at the recording for that. It should be out on the Webinar site now. And I will be doing a Bob Cert Prep session next, I believe it's next Wednesday, if you want to go ahead if you're interested in that one. But all the information about the certification exams that will be available will be out in the catalog. And I would suggest go out there, review the exam page, whether it's a HASHI exam or a IBM one. You can review the Exam Objectives, the Recommended Training, and any other resources to help you prepare. So for all of these exams, you will see a study guide that you should review. I would say the study guides are a wonderful resource. It's the same content that is used by our exam developers when they are creating their exam questions. So look at that. Also go ahead and look at the education support that's available. And the exams all have sample tests. And we are in the process right now of publishing assessment tests for the HASHI exams as well. The first one was just posted yesterday. So if you go out to the Pearson VUE site and look under in the catalog under assessments in the sections, you'll go ahead and start to see that there are, I believe the Terraform one was published yesterday. Vault assessment test should publish next week. and there is a discount code there that will allow you to take the assessment test for free. So TXC 2026 underscore assess. The details for the Bob exam have not been published yet because the exam hasn't been published. I will have all of that information next week in the prep session. But it is an associate level exam, which means it is a an entry level one. It has 42 questions on it. You'll have one hour to take the exam or some of the basic information on that one. As far as additional time for foreign language, we do not have the ability at Tech Exchange in the system that we use to go ahead and provide additional time. So if you need additional time to test, please come and speak to me at the registration desk and we can talk through the various options. I will say that typically speaking, people don't use up for the IBM certification exams. You're given 90 minutes for all of the professional level and it's very rare that we see people go through the, require the complete amount of time. So I would highly recommend going ahead and taking the assessment test. For those of you who are preparing, one of the things to keep in mind is that the assessment tests for the IBM exams, those exam questions are created at the same time as all of the other exam questions. There's no differentiation between them. So it meant to show if you are truly prepared to take the actual exam and at the end of it the score report will tell you how you did by section so you'll be able to go ahead look and see how you did at each of the sections and that will help you to determine the areas that you need to go back and potentially do some additional preparation in so if you see one one section where you did poorly, go out, look at the exam objectives for that section, and know where you need to go ahead and put a little bit more focus. That is what I have as far as for prepared slides, but I am absolutely happy to answer any other questions. So if you all have questions, please go ahead and put them in the Q&A, and I will answer them as they come in. Any other questions? Doesn't look like it. Well, thank you all very much for joining us today. I hope you found this helpful. and I look forward to seeing you at TechExchange in Atlanta in less than two weeks. And I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun and we'll all learn a lot. And I look for you there. I look foward to seeing you there so everyone have a great rest of your day and we will see you in Atlanta. Bye-bye.
