The DKICS journey on automation already started about 10 years ago when we first introduced automation for our internal workflows. Nowadays we are providing automation to our customers via APIs and a self-service portal where they can go and click and order new services, change the configuration of the existing services or also cancel services. And whatever they demand, we directly push that change to the interconnection platform, which we run within seconds. And this is what we, from our perspective, is what We need to provide as a network, as a service provider. And this Is where the whole industry is heading to. Well, we're working towards being able to get us to have a fully autonomous network. so that involves updating the provisioning system to allow for more easy automations. At FibreTime we're growing quite aggressively because our product is custom made to our customer. So that means because our project is so custom made, customers tend to have quite a large take up on our product which means we need to automate and orchestrate to be able to keep up with the demand. Yes, we use Nokia NSP, so we've been using that since the beginning when we installed our network back in 2007. So we've had it the whole time and since we first installed NSP we provisioned all our services using it. So it's essential really to our network. We have an automation in NSP which is very useful. It allows us to transition to new routers. So when we install a new router, we need to and need to transfer services over to it the routers could have hundreds of customers connected to them but we need quickly move them over so we have a an automation in our provisioning system which allows us to instruct the NSP to move all those services from the old router to the new router which would involve hundreds of steps and many configuration parameters so it's just would be impractical to do it any other way. So the IP portion of the network at fiber time needed to be distributed on multiple BNGs regionalized so that we can have CDNs at the local POCs. The IP portion of the network also needed to be able to cater to our scaling and growth challenges and Nokia provided that with their NSP solution and the WLAN gateway solution allows us to do this distributed POPs that cater for all our needs and challenges. At FibreTime we are busy deploying NSP for zero touch provisioning right now. The plan is to have all of our POP's deployed with zero touch provisioning meaning no logins or ssh into every any router at any point until the pop is fully deployed and after that all system notifications and configurations will happen from nsp itself so we already trust ai a lot we currently have a project a proof of concept project for introducing AIOps so the AI is already looking into the details and coming up with solutions what could be done to improve the situation if there is an incident for instance however there are still the men in the loop taking control of what will be done and as we you know progress in this direction we will give more control to the AI especially if we see that is correct and that's the right thing. Before trusting AI we would want to have some guardrails on what it can do so I think we'd want to run it in shadow mode initially at least just to see how it was doing and then when we build confidence in it, we'd enable it essentially. NSP's automation framework is great. The AI portion of it will always have the benefit. The chats have had a massive impact on my teams already.
